Member Services: APWT gets assistance on Digital Communications

Established in June 2015, Animals and Plants Welfare Trust is a young and upcoming NGO based out of Thane that has been actively working in the field of rescue and rehabilitation of wild animals. They commonly rescue birds and reptiles, especially snakes, who are often neglected by most people. They also tend to cruelty cases as and when they arise in the city.

Being a relatively new organisation, APWT in a discussion with FIAPO raised the need for volunteers and building a stronger network on the digital front.

Yaman Tatre, a founder member of the organisation, attended the digital workshop on social media conducted by Mr. Vinayak Bajpai, who heads Digital Communications at FIAPO.  There, he specifically highlighted the growing need for digital communication with Vinayak offering practical suggestions to suit the needs of APWT in particular. We hope to follow up on this first workshop in a month’s time to keep moving the needle of animal protection communication.

Meanwhile, if you’re in Thane and would like to help animals – please get in touch with Mr.Yaman at tatreyaman2525@gmail.com .
