Jharkhand to start exporting fishes from 2017-18

RANCHI: State agriculture, animal husbandry and cooperative minister Randhir Kumar Singh declared on Tuesday that the state would start exporting fishes to other states by year 2017-18.
Fish production in state in the year 2014-15 was 80,000 metric tonne, which at present is insufficient compared to the market demand here.
