Früktville in collaboration with FIAPO launches its range of vegan desserts

For the first time in India the 100% natural homemade ice cream company- Früktville has launched a vegan range of desserts today at its Select City Walk store in Delhi. The brand in collaboration with Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organisations (FIAPO) has introduced an extravagant vegan buffet for all the vegans who can now relish on a lavish range of popsicles, gelatos, waffles and shakes.

Früktville believes in the philosophy of ‘GLOCAL’ which combines the local flavours with some of the best dessert making techniques in the world. The brand has launched a dedicated vegan menu for its patrons having a wide array of choices including 6 popsicles, 5 gelatos, 4 waffles and 2 shakes – by far the biggest vegan dessert selection in India. What differentiates the brand from its competitors is that all of their products are low on calories with no added preservatives and chemicals.

Celebrating the partnership, Manoj Sharma, Director and CEO, Früktville said, “I call it the B2C model wherein veganism needs to come out of the billboards and the boardrooms to the cafeterias. Früktville strives to make veganism more accessible. With FIAPO’s help, we aim to spread awareness amongst people regarding the cruel food choices they are stuck with and to provide them delicious and nutritive dairy-free alternatives to help them shift to cruelty-free choices“.

Shivangi Bahuguna, Head-Corporate Outreach Campaign, FIAPO further added, “We need to eradicate the myth of ‘milk is good’, and while we have mountains to move, I earnestly believe that change only requires courage to take the first step and to be the first one to make that shift! I am glad that Früktville took the initiative to move towards making this world a better place for both us and animals.”

Team Früktville in partnership with FIAPO is also delighted to extend the outreach of this program to other industries to help developing eggless and dairy free cooking. Corporate Chef Nitin Upadhyay will spearhead the charge of creating alternate recipes and its Director-Business Development, Ms. Jacynthe Cauvier, an avid vegan activist, will work closely with FIAPO to spread the message far and wide.
