WAYNE COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – Two people have been charged with animal abuse after investigators removed 18 neglected animals from a Wayne County home.
Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Nicholas Rosario, 24, and Darlene Humby, 41, both of of the village of Clyde, and charged the pair with overdriving, torturing and injuring animals, and failure to provide proper sustenance.
Rosario and Humby are accused of neglecting eight cats, three dogs and seven puppies while keeping them in a Town of Arcadia home without food and water.
Rosario and Humby were both released on appearance tickets. They are set to appear before the Town of Arcadia Court at a later date to answer to the charges.
