Following the success of RFKerala, Rabies Free Karnataka also got the district Health Department on board for setting up a counseling center for dog-bite victims in the biggest district hospital.

Rabies Free Karnataka worked with the Animal Husbandry Department to secure veterinary expertise for the education programs in the district.

FIAPO’s partner in this project is Animal Care Trust (ACT), Mangalore.

The campaign convinced the education department in Mangalore to include education on rabies and dog-bite prevention in the district, which is close to 1000 schools.
