Raksha is a youth based organization, established by a small group of individuals inspired to start a movement and make lasting change to work against cruelty towards animals, to improve the health and welfare of animals, to protect the environment and by so doing improve the livelihood of people.

Society for Animal Welfare- SAW is an animal welfare organisation dedicated to caring for animals. SAW provides immediate care to those animals that are sick, injured or abandoned on the streets.

Action for Protection of Wild Animals(APOWA) has been actively involved in animal protection for the last 14 years, along the biologically rich coastline of Odisha. Rescue of animals from natural calamities, medical support and shelter facilities and turtle conservation are among their mainstay programmes. Sensitising children to animal issues and campaigning against animal sacrifice are among their other initiatives, and their work has earned them recognition at both the state and national levels.
