Taraporevala Aquarium modernisation delayed

The wait for city’s first oceanarium just got longer. The modernisation of Taraporevala Aquarium —which had inched forward in 2010-11 after being in the pipeline for more than five years — has come to a halt. Reason: the state government has decided to float a new plan for the project.

Mumbai City to Get Its First Oceanarium

Worli seems to be like a great residential place suddenly. First we get a lovely garden( read here if you don’t already know about it) . Then we here a state cultural centre to be built at the Love Grove and now the 7 acre worli dairy to be converted to an oceanarium.

Taraporewala Aquarium

Taraporewala Aquarium is at congested locality of Marine Drive in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It has marine life and rare species of fishes and exquisite pearl jewellery. The aquarium has plans to renovate shortly into a high-tech Aquarium with special attractions like glass vision sea-world and an underwater sea walk.
