Peas vs Pills for India for Animals!
Many of us want to do the most we can for animals, just because we know how much they are suffering and exploited. Unfortunately we human beings are conditioned by a society that knows its wrong to harm dogs but not chickens or cows. The result: more than 67 billion land animals are raised in horrifying conditions to die at the hands of the meat industry within days weeks or months. And even more billions of sea animals die at human hands. Dogs have activists who will save them from ending up at the table but cows, goats and chickens have little help.
Its funny, that when one animal is attacked we take it on personally but if someone decides to slaughter animals for a business it becomes more acceptable and more difficult to put a stop to.
The world is undergoing amazing changes and it is possible to become an activist for these ANIMALS everyday without doing too much. Just by learning some basic facts.
This seminar will cover the answers that many people ask when they consider becoming vegetarian or vegan:
Where will I get the protein I require?
What should I feed my kids? Don’t they need milk?
If everyone stops eating meat won’t the world be flooded with animals?
What if I have my own cow, then should I drink milk?
What will I eat then?
I would love to do this but it’s too hard
What will be the health consequences?
This seminar is designed to answer all these questions and more and will leave you feeling that you can help every species of animal on the planet. It will be partially interactive and there will be time for many questions.
This seminar is also a seminar about HEALTH. It will be conducted by Dr Nandita Shah, a doctor and an animal activist, and the founder of SHARAN. It will also cover topics like how you can reach your highest health potential as a vegan – get rid of diabetes, hypertension, asthma and other health problems and what precautions you should take to take the best care of your health so that you can do what you want to, help animals.
The seminar will catered for by Bean Me Up – a vegetarian restaurant and guest house which will soon turn VEGAN. We are offering it for a special price to animal activists but it will be open to the general public too. Feel free to bring your friends, relatives and others – anyone who wants to reverse diseases and learn more about how they can do it.
