Mr. V.R. Mehta is a renowned Indian Social Worker, honorary Executive President of Jaipur Foot, Founder of Mahaveer Philippines Foundation Inc. (MPFI) and is the recipient of the Padma Sri Award. He is also a former Joint Secretary to the Government of India and a consultant at the World Bank. He along with his wife, Ms. Vimla Mehta, co-authored the book ‘Mother Teresa – Inspiring Incidents’. Mr. Mehta is a Special Advisor to the Sir Dorab Tata Trust and is an awardee of the highest civilian honour in the country, the Padma Shri.
