Punjab Meet 2024
A confluence of experts and activists gathered at the Punjab Animal Protection Meet 2024 with an aim to address several pressing animal welfare issues in Punjab.
Renowned speakers included Padma Shri Norma Alvares (President, PFA, Goa and Board Member, FIAPO); Abodh Aras (CEO, WSD and Chairperson, FIAPO); and Anjali Gopalan (Managing Trustee, ACGS and Advisory Board, FIAPO).Alongwith the model district project in Bhatinda, with this meet, FIAPO took yet another step towards cementing a robust animal welfare movement in Punjab.
Vegan Advocacy Workshop 2024
The ‘Catalysing a Vegan Advocacy Strategy for India’ Workshop saw individuals and organisations working on vegan advocacy come together to ideate, discuss and brainstorm.The event also launched a first-of-its-kind India-focused study on vegan advocacy conducted by animal rights activist and scholar Nirupama Sarma and team.

IFA (India for Animals) is an extension of FIAPO's work to strengthen the animal protection movement in the country. IFA seeks to bring together grassroots activists, industry experts, practitioners, philanthropists, influencers, and Animal Protection NGOs across the country, an opportunity to network, strategize and get inspired to strengthen the cause for animal rights.
